The Regional Information Sharing Systems® (RISS) is committed to protecting your privacy and securing the personal information that you make available to us when you access our websites or communicate with us electronically. This Privacy Policy describes what information is made available to RISS when you visit RISS Public Websites and describes how that information is used.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our publicly-available sites to read or download information, we collect and store the following information about your visit:

RISS does not collect or use information for commercial marketing.
 
We may share information you give us with contractors acting on our behalf or with a government agency if your inquiry relates to that agency. In other limited circumstances, RISS may be required by law to disclose information you submit.
 
RISS will safeguard all information submitted electronically and keep data no longer than is necessary based on the requirements of the submission.
 
Be aware that email is not necessarily secure against interception. If your communication is sensitive or includes personal information, you may prefer to send it by other means instead.

RISS’ websites may contain links to websites created and maintained by other public and/or private organizations. We provide these links as a service to visitors to our sites.
